Electoral Commission (Abolition) Bill

This bill proposes to abolish the Electoral Commission, which is the independent body responsible for making sure UK elections are run fairly and that political parties follow the rules on campaign spending and donations. If passed, these duties would need to be taken over by other government bodies.
