    description
In Surrey our vision is for every adult and child experiencing domestic abuse to be seen, safe and heard, and free from the harm caused by perpetrator behaviour. The work we undertake will drive all action against domestic abuse in the County. It will influence change and secure the commitment of all to prevent harm, which devastates victims' lives, no matter how old they are, and has a disproportionate effect on the lives of young people. Surrey's ambition is 'no one is left behind' and domestic abuse services play a key role in achieving this ambition. We want to achieve the priorities in our Support in Safe Accommodation Strategy, which include: • Continue to explore with Surrey's refuge and outreach providers opportunities to further enhance the support available to survivors and their children that reside in safe accommodation • Explore opportunities for resettlement, skills and employment to allow survivors of DA to live an independent, healthy and fulfilled life in the Communities they live in. • Build on the two-way communication, training and partnership work between safe accommodation providers, outreach providers and district and borough housing teams, to further improve the client journey when moving from safe accommodation to fully independent living. • Work with partners to explore further opportunities to support survivors (adults and children) of DA to stay safe in their own homes and communities, where it is safe to do so. To achieve those objectives and ambitions, SCC is looking to procure Safe Accommodation Services. These services will be delivered under 6 distinctive Lots, as outlined below: • Lot 1 Refuge - Safe Accommodation. This lot includes three different areas and Bidders are required to indicate the area they are bidding for:- Woking- Guildford- Reigate and Banstead & Waverley • Lot 2 Refuge Accommodation for All (RAFA) and Resettlement • Lot 3 Safe at Home and Community IDVA Service • Lot 4 Perpetrator Accommodation • Lot 5 Young People Using Abusive Behaviour Intervention • Lot 6 Support Survivors who are subject to Immigration processes.

The two year partnership aims to: • work with local people and partners and the Institute of Health Equity, to become a Marmot place, helping everyone - no matter their background, live a longer and healthier life, and • tackle poverty by working with people to prevent them from falling into hardship and providing them with timely support when they need it most. The approach will be led by the Director of Public Health and championed by the Elected Mayor and Cabinet. The governance will be led by the North Tyneside Strategic Partnership (NTSP). This work will also align and integrate with several other plans, programmes of work and partnerships, including the Council Plan, the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy, the Local Plan and wider Public Service Reform. The agenda is cross sectoral and place-based and will involve North Tyneside Council, all healthcare partners represented on the NTSP and Health and Wellbeing Board, the community and voluntary sector, public services and businesses and residents themselves.

This notice is for the award of Lot 10: West Midlands. The Prisoner Education Services (PES) is a UK government initiative with three overarching strategic priorities - improving prisoner numeracy and literacy skills, incentivizing prisoners to improve their qualifications and skills to increase their prospects of finding work on release, and ensuring that Governors and their teams have the knowledge, tools, support and accountabilities that they need to make this work. PES seeks to transform learning in jails as part of a renewed push to skill up offenders and protect the public. PES Core Education will include teaching and delivery of a two-layered curriculum for independence and for opportunity which meets the needs of prisoners, as well as high quality, timely screening and assessment delivery and tailored and impactful additional learning needs support. The Ministry of Justice launched the PES Panel to reform how education is delivered across the adult prison estate in England. The first call-offs under this framework focused on Core Education Services, including teaching and delivery of a two-layered curriculum for independence (essential subjects such as English, Maths, digital skills) and curriculum for opportunity, which meets the needs of prisoners. The Core Education contracts also include high quality, timely screening and assessment delivery; tailored and impactful additional learning needs support; and (where applicable) prison library services. The contracts are split into 11 regional lots and aim to provide a consistent, high-quality education offer that supports rehabilitation, reduces reoffending, and improves employability and resettlement outcomes for prisoners. The procurement was conducted under the Open Procedure in accordance with the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
