This contract will be delivered in multiple phases. Phase 1 is a feasibility study to understand whether TVCA should invest in using or building an IoT network across the region. Should the feasibility study recommend that TVCA should invest in this, additional phases may be required under this contract including use case identification and design, procurement support, deployment support and benefits evaluation and monitoring. Pricing for additional phases will be agreed with the Provider following finalisation of the scope but prior to issuing the Variation Letter and will be based on the methodology and day rates submitted at tender stage. TVCA is not obliged to instruct the Provider to undertake any work beyond Phase 1. Phase 1 maximum value: £62,440 Maximum contract value if all phases are delivered under this Contract: £150,000

    description
This process is a new tendered area to the CPC's portfolio of agreements. The opportunity for this Framework arose from the current CPC framework for Utilities Supplies & Services, of which Sustainable Energy First (SE First) are the sole supplier. SE First have over 50 years of experience in energy and business utility management and now operate as the largest privately owned sustainability consultancy in the UK. There is a gap in CPC's portfolio for a Framework to purchase Renewable Energy directly from energy suppliers. We have run this procurement exercise to launch a Framework as a route to market for members. This will allow members to engage SE First via the Utilities Supplies & Services framework to provide consultancy services and then run a mini competition via the Renewable Energy Consortium Framework to award a renewable energy provider. We already have the Utilities DPS in place for fixed and flexible gas and electricity requirements, fixed water requirements, and a range of metering services. More information can be seen at: https://www.thecpc.ac.uk/services/frameworks/utilities-dps The implementation of the Framework will allow a full-service provision within the Renewable Energy sector for members. CPC are the Contracting Authority for this agreement, working in partnership with SE First. The purpose of this Framework is to give CPC members a compliant route to market. The collective spending power of members utilising CPC frameworks is harnessed to drive down costs, which often allows for savings delivery which our membership otherwise would be unable to achieve individually. The scope of the agreement will provide a portfolio procurement option for Renewable Energy.

Located on the Harwell Science & Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, Diamond Light Source (DLS) is a leading-edge facility for science, engineering and innovation. DLS allows researchers from academia and industry to investigate the structure and behaviour of the world around us at the atomic and molecular level. To continue delivering the world-changing science that Diamond enables, the facility is being upgraded to Diamond-II, a co-ordinated programme of development that combines a major machine upgrade with new instruments and complementary improvements to optics, detectors, sample environment and delivery capabilities, and computing, as well as integrated and correlative methods. This will be transformative in speed and spatial resolution and will offer users streamlined access to enhanced instruments for life and physical sciences. Beamline B23 is a UV-visible beamline that will utilize a lattice dipole-quadrupole (DQ) magnet as a source in the Diamond-II synchrotron. The beamline operates two modules (A and B) which provide ultraviolet and visible light for synchrotron radiation circular dichroism (SRCD) experiments. The operational energy range of the beamline is 125 to 800 nm (1.55 to 10 eV). The scope of the contract is to design, manufacture and deliver a double, horizontally and vertically deflecting mirror system to the performance specification document using a shared concept. The mirror system will support two mirror optics (not part of this tender) that will have a motorised 3-point kinematic motion system. Mirror System will have an Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) vacuum vessel, support structure and adjustments for alignment.

The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust requires an NHS proven, hosted and fully maintained electronic orthopaedic Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and outcomes reporting system / software that can be integrated with the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system to enable seamless communication between the provider and patients, with minimal administrative support from the Trust, which will ensure that the Trust remains compliant with its statutory and elective reporting requirements. The provider's proven systems and software are to enable the effective, efficient and streamlined collection and uploading of Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMS) and National Joint Registry (NJR) data from throughout the perioperative pathway on behalf of the Trust by the provider. The provider is to be largely independent in ensuring these reporting requirements are met, with limited engagement from the Trust's administrative teams. The provider must also provide access and analysis of the data collected through a user-friendly interface for the Trust to be able to review and understand the data being collected, enabling it to support strategic decision making. The provider must be adaptive to changes to national reporting requirements and registries and ensure that the Trust remains compliant with these. The registries to be uploaded to by the provider are: - NHS England - Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) - British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) - The British Society for the Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) - National Ligament Registry (NLR) - UK Knee Osteotomy Registry (UKKOR) - Non-Arthroplasty Hip Registry (NAHR) - The British Spine Registry (BSR) - The International Cartilage Regeneration and Joint Preservation Society (ICRS) - Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) through - NEC Software Solutions UK Ltd

The contracting authority has a requirement for ad hoc grounds maintenance, pest control and associated services. This will be an award without competition as a change in supplier would result in the contracting authority receiving goods, services or works that are different from, or incompatible with, the existing goods, services or works, and the difference or incompatibility would result in difficulties in operation.

Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council is looking for a reputable supplier of Core Networking and Wifi solutions. The Council's Networking and Wi-Fi infrastructure is being refreshed to bring this up to date and to enable leverage of new cutting-edge technologies. This refresh is coinciding with a new data centre creation and will be used to enable a Wi-Fi first approach within our head office in West Malling and our other satellite offices. A new data centre is being created in the head office, this doesn't actually exist yet but the works are looking likely to proceed, if for any reason the space isn't created any new solution would feature in its existing location. The proposed solutions must facilitate seamless administration, scalability, and robust performance through an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI).

To allow continuation of a contractual arrangement with a supplier beyond contract terms in exceptional circumstances. The sign shop materials are quite a niche market and a previous attempt at tendering for these materials was unsuccessful. Since that time the sign shop has purchased materials after obtaining quotations from the suppliers that can provide the goods at a competitive price and also meet the delivery timescales required. The sign shop manufactures signs for both internal and external customers and the timescales are set by the customer. The materials provided by this supplier provide value for money and are able to deliver within the required timescales. This is a request for an interim solution to continue service provision with the support from the Procurement team it is the intention that a full specification and tender for all sign shop materials will be prepared and tendered within six months of this exception request to ensure future compliance. The sign shop obtains quotations for materials prior to purchasing, the suppliers also provide their delivery times which is part of the best value decision on utilising suppliers for the councils most advantageous position to ensure that we can deliver our services to our customers without delay.
