A secretariat is the entity that does the operational work of an All-Party Parliamentary Group: drafts agendas, briefs MPs, sends out invitations, books rooms, writes reports. When the secretariat is a lobby firm or PR firm, the APPG is a paid channel for the firm’s clients to access MPs. The MPs officer the group, the firm supplies the staff and the policy line, the firm’s clients (listed under Funders below) pay for the privilege.

To raise awareness of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and seek improvements in support and services for people with ABI and their carers; to provide a voice for people with ABI in parliament; and to raise issues across health, social care and welfare which affect people living with ABI.
