A secretariat is the entity that does the operational work of an All-Party Parliamentary Group: drafts agendas, briefs MPs, sends out invitations, books rooms, writes reports. When the secretariat is a lobby firm or PR firm, the APPG is a paid channel for the firm’s clients to access MPs. The MPs officer the group, the firm supplies the staff and the policy line, the firm’s clients (listed under Funders below) pay for the privilege.

To provide an effective voice for radiotherapy and improve equality of access to world-class radiotherapy for cancer patients. To ensure radiotherapy receives increased funding so that patients are allowed to have the best radiotherapy appropriate to their individual cancer.
