A secretariat is the entity that does the operational work of an All-Party Parliamentary Group: drafts agendas, briefs MPs, sends out invitations, books rooms, writes reports. When the secretariat is a lobby firm or PR firm, the APPG is a paid channel for the firm’s clients to access MPs. The MPs officer the group, the firm supplies the staff and the policy line, the firm’s clients (listed under Funders below) pay for the privilege.

    To bring together parliamentarians, stakeholders (including employers and unions) and the pensions industry to facilitate discussions on adequate, sustainable retirement income across state, occupational and private pensions. It will also focus on how pension funds may be able to support economic growth and regional economic regeneration through domestic investment.
