A secretariat is the entity that does the operational work of an All-Party Parliamentary Group: drafts agendas, briefs MPs, sends out invitations, books rooms, writes reports. When the secretariat is a lobby firm or PR firm, the APPG is a paid channel for the firm’s clients to access MPs. The MPs officer the group, the firm supplies the staff and the policy line, the firm’s clients (listed under Funders below) pay for the privilege.

All-Party Parliamentary Group for DairySubject Group
The APPG's purpose is to provide a forum for parliamentarians to discuss issues of interest for the dairy industry. This is to ensure members are fully briefed on developments in the dairy supply chain and to support the development of a sustainable and profitable dairy industry.
