A secretariat is the entity that does the operational work of an All-Party Parliamentary Group: drafts agendas, briefs MPs, sends out invitations, books rooms, writes reports. When the secretariat is a lobby firm or PR firm, the APPG is a paid channel for the firm’s clients to access MPs. The MPs officer the group, the firm supplies the staff and the policy line, the firm’s clients (listed under Funders below) pay for the privilege.

To promote amongst parliamentarians the issue of cardiac arrest in the young; to inform policy decisions and public debate relating to cardiac arrest in the young; and to enable communications between interested parties and relevant parliamentarians.
