A secretariat is the entity that does the operational work of an All-Party Parliamentary Group: drafts agendas, briefs MPs, sends out invitations, books rooms, writes reports. When the secretariat is a lobby firm or PR firm, the APPG is a paid channel for the firm’s clients to access MPs. The MPs officer the group, the firm supplies the staff and the policy line, the firm’s clients (listed under Funders below) pay for the privilege.

Support the roll-out of small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs) to sites across the UK, to champion the SMR model, to encourage a diversity of design and providers and to engage UK nuclear industry in the development of SMRs including supporting engineering jobs in the UK and developing nuclear skills.
