Baroness Lloyd of Effra CBE was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology on 11 September 2025.

She was previously both Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State in the Department for Business and Trade and Baroness in Waiting (Government Whip) between 11 September 2025 and 12 June 2026.
