Disabled Persons (Independent Living) Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to give disabled people the right and support to live independently in their own homes and participate fully in their communities. It would require the government to provide funding and services that help disabled people live the way they choose, rather than forcing them into care homes or relying only on family support.
Presented by Lord Ashley of Stoke.
