Defence Expenditure (NATO Target) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would commit the UK to spending at least 2% of its total national income on defence and the military, which is a target set by NATO (a military alliance of 32 countries including the UK). Currently the UK spends less than this target, so the bill would increase defence spending.
Presented by Sir Gerald Howarth.
