Data Protection (Independent Complaint) Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill creates a new way for people to complain if they think their personal data (like their address, emails, or online activity) is being misused by companies or organisations. Instead of the current process, complaints would go to an independent body that can investigate and help sort out data protection problems more quickly and easily.
Presented by Baroness Kidron.
