Crime (Aggravated Murder of and Violence Against Women) Bill

This bill aims to make the law tougher on murders and serious violent crimes where women are the victims. It would create a new category of crime that courts can punish more severely, and it's designed to recognise that violence against women is a particular problem that deserves stronger legal responses.
