BILL
to
This bill would change the law to allow oppositesex couples to enter into civil partnerships, which currently are only available to samesex couples. Civil partnerships provide similar legal rights and responsibilities to marriage but are a different legal status. The bill essentially extends this option to everyone, not just samesex couples.
Presented by Baroness Burt of Solihull.
