Citizens' Initiative (Legislation) Bill

This bill would create a 'Citizens' Initiative' system that allows ordinary people to propose new laws. If enough people sign a petition (the exact number would be set by Parliament), the government would have to give serious consideration to debating and voting on that proposed law in Parliament.
