Additional Charges for Utility Bills Not Paid by Direct Debit (Limits) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill tries to stop energy companies from charging customers too much extra money if they don't pay their bills by direct debit (automatic bank transfer). It sets limits on what these additional charges can be, so people who pay by other methods like post office or card don't face unfair costs.
Presented by Robert Halfon.
