Young People Leaving Care (Accommodation) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to ensure young people who leave the care system (foster care or children's homes) have access to safe accommodation and housing support. Currently, care leavers often struggle to find housing and can end up homeless, so this bill would make councils legally responsible for helping them secure stable places to live.
Presented by Helen Southworth.
