British Board of Film Classification (Accountability to Parliament and Appeals) Bill

[As Introduced]

BILL
to

This bill makes the BBFC (the organisation that decides whether films get ratings like 12A, 15, or 18) more accountable to Parliament and improves the system for appealing rating decisions. Currently, the BBFC operates quite independently, but this bill would give Parliament more oversight and give people clearer rights to challenge film ratings they think are wrong.

Presented by Mr Julian Brazier.
