Unpaid Work Orders (Pilot Scheme) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill sets up a trial programme where some people who break the law would be ordered to do unpaid work in their community as a form of punishment or rehabilitation. Instead of always going to prison, offenders would work on local projects, this is being tested in certain areas before deciding whether to roll it out more widely.
Presented by John Glen.
