Universal Credit Sanctions (Zero Hours Contracts) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to stop the government from penalizing (sanctioning) people who receive Universal Credit and work on zero hours contracts. Zero hours contracts mean workers have no guaranteed hours, so the bill argues these people shouldn't be punished for not meeting strict jobseeking rules when their work is so unpredictable.
Presented by Chris Stephens.
