United Kingdom Membership of the European Union (Referendum) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would require the UK government to hold a referendum asking British citizens whether they want the country to remain a member of the European Union or leave it. Essentially, it gives the power to decide the UK's EU future directly to voters rather than leaving it entirely to Parliament.
Presented by Mr John Baron.
