Under-Occupancy Penalty (Report) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would require Parliament to commission and publish a report investigating the 'underoccupancy penalty' (commonly called the bedroom tax). This is a policy that reduces housing benefit payments for people in social housing who have more bedrooms than the government thinks they need. The report would examine the impact of this policy on people and families.
Presented by Chris Stephens.
