Umbilical Cord Blood (Donation) Bill

This bill aims to encourage and regulate the donation of umbilical cord blood from newborn babies. Cord blood contains stem cells that scientists believe could treat certain cancers, blood disorders, and other serious illnesses, so the bill would set up a system to collect and store it for medical use.
