UK Environmental Protection (Maintenance of EU Standards) Bill

This bill would make it law that the UK maintains the same environmental protection standards that existed under EU rules. Essentially, it prevents the government from lowering protections for things like air and water quality, keeping these safeguards in place even though the UK has left the European Union.
