Travellers (Unauthorised Encampments) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill gives councils and police stronger legal powers to remove unauthorised traveller encampments from public land more quickly and with fewer steps. It aims to tackle illegal camps, but campaigners argue it doesn't solve the underlying problem of where travellers can legally stop and that it could harm vulnerable people.
Presented by Simon Kirby.
