Trading of Primates as Pets (Prohibition) Bill

This bill would make it illegal to buy, sell, or trade primates (such as monkeys, chimpanzees, and lemurs) as pets in the UK. The aim is to stop primates being kept in homes where they cannot receive proper care, and to improve their welfare by restricting them to suitable facilities like zoos and sanctuaries.
