Tax Reliefs (Evaluation) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill requires the government to systematically evaluate whether tax reliefs (tax breaks given to specific industries, activities, or groups) actually deliver their intended economic and social benefits. Currently, many tax reliefs exist without rigorous assessment of their effectiveness or value for money. The bill establishes a framework for regular review and evidencegathering on tax reliefs, enabling Parliament to make betterinformed decisions about which reliefs to maintain, modify, or remove.
Presented by Bobby Dean.
