Strategic Litigation Against Public Participation Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to stop what's called 'SLAPP' (Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation) where wealthy people or companies use expensive court cases to scare ordinary people into silence for speaking out or campaigning. The bill would create new protections to dismiss these cases early, saving people money and protecting their right to speak up without fear.
