Bereavement Leave and Pay (Stillborn and Miscarried Babies) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would give parents legal rights to paid bereavement leave if they lose a baby through miscarriage or stillbirth. Currently, there's no legal requirement for employers to provide this time off, so many grieving parents have to use holiday or sick leave, or return to work quickly.
Presented by Sarah Owen.
