Smoke Alarms (Private Rented Sector) Bill

This bill would make it a legal requirement for private landlords to install working smoke alarms in their rental properties and keep them maintained. Currently, there's no clear legal requirement to do this, so the bill aims to improve fire safety for people renting homes across the UK.
