Selective Licensing (Housing Standards) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would allow local councils to introduce 'selective licensing' schemes in their areas. This means landlords would need to apply for a license to rent out their properties, and their homes would need to meet certain quality and safety standards. The aim is to ensure tenants live in decent conditions and crack down on bad landlords.
Presented by Graham Jones.
