[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would change the punishment for not wearing a seat belt. Instead of (or alongside) just getting a fine, drivers and passengers could now lose penalty points from their driving licence. The aim is to make more people wear seat belts to stay safe in cars.

Presented by Mr Barry Sheerman.
