Seat Belts (Penalty Points) Bill

to
This bill would change the punishment for not wearing a seat belt. Instead of (or alongside) just getting a fine, drivers and passengers could now lose penalty points from their driving licence. The aim is to make more people wear seat belts to stay safe in cars.
