Scottish Banknotes (Acceptability in United Kingdom) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to make Scottish banknotes legally acceptable and usable as official money across the whole United Kingdom. Currently, while Scottish notes are widely used in Scotland, they don't have the same legal backing in other parts of the UK, which can sometimes cause problems when people try to spend them in England, Wales, or Northern Ireland.
Presented by David Mundell.
