Benefit Claimants (Automatic Transfer to Alternative Benefits) Bill

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill would allow the government to automatically transfer benefit claimants to a different benefit when they no longer qualify for their current one, rather than requiring them to apply separately. The aim is to make the benefits system faster and simpler, but it raises questions about whether people should always be consulted when their benefits change.

Presented by John Hemming.
