BILL
to

The Refugees (Family Reunion) Bill [HL] aims to expand family reunion provisions for refugees in the UK by relaxing eligibility criteria and streamlining the process. Currently, refugees can only bring dependent children under 18 to the UK; this bill extends these rights to adult children, spouses, and other close relatives in certain circumstances. The bill seeks to reduce processing delays, lower application costs, and remove some of the financial and documentary barriers that currently prevent separated refugee families from reuniting in the UK.

Presented by Baroness Hamwee.
