Referendum (Local Authority Governance) Bill [HL]

This bill would allow local communities in the UK to hold referendums (public votes) on how their local councils should be organized and run. Rather than decisions being made only by councillors, ordinary people in each area could vote on things like whether they want an elected mayor or other changes to how their local government works.
