Recognition of Armenian Genocide Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill asks Parliament to officially recognise that the deaths of around 1.5 million Armenians during World War One were genocide meaning the Ottoman Empire deliberately tried to destroy the Armenian people. Currently, the UK does not have an official position on this; this bill would change that.
Presented by Tim Loughton.
