Protection for Whistleblowing Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to protect workers who speak up about wrongdoing at their workplace. It would make it harder for employers to punish, fire, or harm whistleblowers, and could expand what counts as 'protected disclosure' (reporting illegal or dangerous activity). The goal is to encourage people to report serious problems without fear of losing their job or facing retaliation.
Presented by Baroness Kramer.
