[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill aims to crack down on pet theft by making it a more serious criminal offence. Currently, stolen pets are treated as stolen property under general theft laws, but this bill would give pet theft its own specific legal status with stronger penalties to deter criminals and protect pet owners.
