A
BILL
to
This bill changes the rules for how the Governor of the Bank of England is chosen. Currently, the government appoints the Governor. This bill would likely give Parliament a bigger role in the appointment process, making it more transparent and involving elected representatives in the decision.
Presented by John McDonnell.
