Organ Tourism and Cadavers on Display Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to prevent 'organ tourism' (where wealthy people travel abroad to buy organs, often from poor people who are exploited) and regulate the public display of dead bodies. It would make it illegal or very restricted for British citizens to participate in these practices and bring stricter rules about how bodies can be shown in exhibitions or displays.
Presented by Lord Hunt of Kings Heath.
