This bill aims to make online shopping safer by requiring sellers (like Amazon, eBay, and other websites) to be responsible for checking that the products they sell meet safety standards. Currently, online platforms have fewer safety responsibilities than physical shops, so this bill tries to close that gap and protect shoppers.
