No Fault Divorce Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill changes UK divorce law so that couples no longer need to prove fault (like infidelity or unreasonable behaviour) to get divorced. Instead, one person can simply say the marriage has broken down irretrievably, and after a waiting period, the divorce can be granted without needing the other person's agreement.
Presented by Mr Richard Bacon.
