Automatic Electoral Registration Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would automatically register eligible people to vote, rather than requiring them to sign up to the electoral register themselves. Instead of citizens having to apply to vote, the government would use existing data (like tax records) to register them, making voting more accessible to more people.
Presented by Baroness McDonagh.
