Microplastic Filters (Washing Machines) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would require washing machine manufacturers to install filters designed to trap microplastics released from synthetic clothing during washing. These tiny plastic particles currently go down the drain and end up in rivers and oceans, harming wildlife and potentially entering the food chain, so the bill aims to reduce this pollution at source.
Presented by Alberto Costa.
