Marriage and Civil Partnership Registration (Mothers' Names) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would change the law so that when people get married or enter into a civil partnership, the mother's name is officially recorded on the registration document, just like the father's name currently is. Right now, only the father's name is typically included.
Presented by Christina Rees.
