Local Authority Boundaries (Referendums) Bill
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill would require local authorities to hold referendums (public votes) before changing council boundaries. Currently, boundary changes can happen without asking local people directly. If passed, communities would get to vote on whether they want their local authority's area to change shape or size.
Presented by Robbie Moore.
