Life Peerages (Residency for Taxation Purposes) Bill [HL]

[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to

This bill proposes that life peers must be resident in the UK for tax purposes to remain members of the House of Lords. Currently, there are no such residency requirements, so this would be a new rule to ensure peers have a genuine UK base.

Presented by Lord Oakeshott of Seagrove Bay.
