Leasehold Reform (Disclosure and Insurance Commissions) Bill [HL]
[As Introduced]
A
BILL
to
This bill aims to protect leaseholders (people who rent their homes longterm) by making rules about insurance costs and commission fees. It would require property companies to be transparent about how much they're charging and why, stopping them from secretly marking up prices on things like buildings insurance.
Presented by Lord Kennedy of Southwark.
